- 1 cup cold filtered water, divided
- 1 tablespoon raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
- Pinch of ground cinnamon or vanilla extract (optional)
- Liquid stevia for sugar-free version (optional)
Instructions
- Pour 1/4 cup of cold water into a small mug or glass.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the water and let it bloom for 2 minutes.
- Heat the remaining 3/4 cup of water until hot but not boiling.
- Pour the hot water over the bloomed gelatin.
- Stir slowly for about 30 seconds until fully dissolved.
- Add honey or your preferred sweetener.
- Add optional lemon juice, cinnamon, or vanilla extract if desired.
- Drink warm immediately or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes for a jelly-like texture.
Notes
Use beef or halal gelatin for a halal-friendly version. Avoid boiling water to maintain a smooth texture. This drink is best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 48 hours.
