Description

A warm, soothing gelatin wellness drink made with unflavored gelatin, lemon, honey, and cinnamon. Quick to prepare, naturally high in protein, and perfect as a morning or pre-meal ritual.


Ingredients

  • 1 packet (7g) unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup (240ml) hot water (~180°F / 82°C)
  • 1 tsp raw honey (or sugar-free sweetener)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tbsp cold water to a mug.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the cold water.
  3. Let sit for 60 seconds to bloom.
  4. Heat water to approximately 180°F (82°C).
  5. Pour hot water over the bloomed gelatin.
  6. Stir for 60–90 seconds until fully dissolved.
  7. Add honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  8. Stir well to combine.
  9. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon if desired.
  10. Drink immediately while warm.

Notes

For a low-carb version, replace honey with monk fruit sweetener or liquid stevia. Collagen peptides dissolve more easily and do not require blooming. Best enjoyed in the morning or 30 minutes before a meal.
