  • 23 lemon slices (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to a glass jar.
  2. Pour in 1 cup of filtered water.
  3. Stir vigorously for 30 seconds to prevent clumping.
  4. Let sit for 10 minutes, stirring again at the 5-minute mark.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice and stir well.
  6. Add honey or maple syrup if desired.
  7. Add lemon slices and mint, then serve immediately or refrigerate up to 24 hours.
